Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key purpose To manage the property management and leasing function (where applicable) across several contracts within Citizen Services, Health & Defence (CSHD). The Operations and Property Manager will also be a key to winning new property management business and manage any additional property management contracts that the business attains. To manage the dedicated property management contract teams, processes and undertake system implementation for the aforementioned. To manage all tenant, stakeholder and client communications, relationships and reporting relating to the property management function across several contracts. Reason for role To manage multiple contracts offering Property Management services across CSHD. Structure and reporting relationship Typically reporting to a General Manager and to manage multiple teams across several contracts. Key accountabilities · Be a focal point in the business for managing new / potential and existing clients for Property Management (PM) services. · Manage teams of people who will monitor the administration of leases, tenant relationship management, collection of rent, and renewal of leases on all responsible contracts · Manage the PM teams who will liaise with the Projects department to ensure new assets/properties are incorporated onto the Property Management system. · Liaise with clients and all relevant government agencies on a regular basis to maintain an appreciation of local laws and regulations and ensure compliance with the same. · Ensure the contracts are fully conversant and comply with all relevant property management Codes of Practice, rules, policies and procedures in the management of property and tenancy management. · To manage the implementation of a comprehensive database and property management system including the gathering together and population of all historic and current data relating to land transactions, tenancy agreements and all information concerning properties and assets · Develop, evaluate and implements a lifecycle procedure including the technical and commercial aspects. · Develop a robust and auditable process in which the PM teams review all tenancy contracts and ensure their effective implementation.
