Job Description Our client is a Global Engineering business who are currently conducting several high profile epc projects. They are looking for a Senior Subcontracts Engineer to join them on a contract basis to work from their office in Woking. To be considered for this project all applicants will have over 8 years oil and gas experience and be keen to take on a long term contract role. As the Senior subcontracts engineer your role will be to execute and manage projects and non projects subcontracts as required to support company requirements. A Senior subcontracts engineer is expected to be able to handle high complexity subcontracts and take leading roles in decentralised project teams. 1. Execution and management of Subcontracts. 2. Leading project teams and stakeholders. 3. Representing the department in meetings, promoting a positive image of the department. Promote policies and procedures of the department. 4. Interface with client representatives. 5. Status reporting, including maintenance of projects subcontracts status reports were applicable. 6. Develop sustainable long term relationship with key subcontracts. 7. May involve mentoring of graduate subcontracts engineers and deputising for subcontracts manager. 8. Any other duties that are deemed appropriate for the position.
