The Role will include: 1. Review technical specifications, data sheet, P&ID & vendor drawing. 2. Coordination with Engineering Team & Engineering Consultant 3. Review Techno-Commercial Bid & Evaluation. 4. Review technical engineering specifications and preparation and release of Purchase Request (PR) based on the final Engineering Mechanical specification of various equipment/ packages. 5. Responsible for Pre Bid meeting and site visits and Post Bid issues. 6. Reviewing the project progress on all aspects viz. material submittals, drawings and actual site construction and taking necessary corrective actions required to meet the project schedule. 7. Scheduling of Material Inspection at Vendor Workshop 8. Monitoring of material dispatch from vendor workshop & receive at site 9. Ensuring proper documentation in timely manner, as required by Contractor and Erection Team. 10. Coordination with third party inspection agencies as specified in contract 11. Coordinating with Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) team for timely supply of material and construction of project. 12. Coordinating with Procurement department for shortage damage report from site. 13. Coordinating with Execution Team on technical and construction issues through regular meetings and resolve site discrepancy reports with engineering. 14. Approve invoices for timely payments to vendors/sub-contractors and ensure invoicing to Customer as per approved billing schedule and follow up for timely payments. 15. Reporting to top management about resource requirement at site, project progress & areas of concern. 16. Liaising with external agencies such as client, process licensors, contractors and vendors during execution of the project 17. Liaising with Government Agency for necessary approvals. 18. Coordination with EPC contractors for meeting the schedules. 19. Monitoring all the activities of site like Project Execution, Quality, Safety …etc. 20. Ensuring safety of all the persons at site and that safety norms are adhered to. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering This role will be responsible for end to end project management of mechanical engineering work for Power Plant Project. Required Skill Set (In case of IT requirements) Proficient with MS office Relevant Industry Construction Desired profile of the candidate Candidates must demonstrate the following; • 8+ years project engineering experience on Power Generation projects • Process design experience within the power industry is preferred • Qualified candidates should have relevant experience and knowledge of Combined cycle power plants: a. Turbines “Steam & Gas” b. HRSG “Heat Recovery Steam Generator” • Installation project management • Team leadership skills • Working and interfacing with major equipment vendors • Customer relationship management skills • Familiar with engineering procedures, standards and codes Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of detail design engineering processes and is able to effectively communicate with and lead engineers and non-engineers.
