ABOUT CLIENT: An established leading Middle East based National Oil Company with a number of productive oil fields calls for professionals having hands-on experience in supervising the day to day operation and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to electrical plant and equipment in assigned field, covering gas turbine generators and control units, L.V/H.V motors & control circuits, transformers MVSG, HVSD & cables, H.V overhead lines, electrical submersible pumps (ESP) and electrical protection systems. JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE: 1. Supervises the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory functions and excesses financial authorities established by management for this level. 2. Ensures availability of adequate manpower, materials, spares, tools and test equipment guided by standard procedures. 3. Provides technical direction to subordinates on fault finding diagnoses and repairs. 4. Inspects work progress/completed work through site visits and/or review of work records to ensure proper and timely execution. 5. Monitors and follows up to ensure all work is carried out to high technical and safety standards in all workshop disciplines. 6. Ensures regular inspection and maintenance of workshop machinery, and test equipment. 7. Reviews and plans future workshop activities considering workshop equipment, resource and material availability.
