(463) HSE Officer (Scaffolding) job in Italy

Support the HSE Department in the application of Company HSE Policy and Project HSE Management System for site activities in compliance with Italian regulations. Within his/her area of responsibility, provide workers with a written assignment for activities in dangerous situations before starting the work. Control the strict application of Italian Laws, HSE policy and related reference documents (directives, Company rules and specifications, site procedures and work instructions) and contribute to promote the Company HSE philosophy to all parties involved in the Project. Support Scaffolding Supervisor to review and recommend for approval all Working at Height and Scaffolding procedures as provided by contractors/subcontractors. Check on the level of HSE training of personnel employed (Company and Contractors) – Contribute, in the field, to the development of personnel’s awareness on WAH and Scaffolding Procedure. Take part to the Permit to Work daily pre-job meetings and weekly Tool Box Talks related to WAH and Scaffolding activities. Participate in Job Risk Assessment with Contractor and request new JRA, review and propose adequate risk mitigations measures depending on Scaffolding Site operation. Ensure Job Risk Assessments findings are implemented on the field. Ensure adherence to Permit to Work – Review and approve Permit to Work, check conformity within Company policy operating WAH and Scaffolding procedures and instructions. Ensure and monitor the execution of Daily Site survey & pre-Job meeting related to the PTW system. Conduct audits and inspections of Company and Contractors tools, equipment and installations related to WAH and Scaffolding Erection, Modification and Dismantling. Assist Scaffolding Supervisor to develop safe work practices related to scaffolding. Assist Scaffolding Supervisor to Inspect and approve scaffolding materials before the use. Assist Scaffolding Supervisor to identify faults and provide / supervise the recommended actions for recovering. Report all incidents, accidents and anomalies. Check on the availability of prevention and intervention materials and equipment - Assist and monitor safety equipment; participate in their inspection and maintenance to ensure reliability. Act as a support for emergency response and contingency plans, check their application. Ensure waste management is performed on the field as per procedures; provide assistance to Contractors in the area of waste segregation, storage, and transport out of SITE. Promote daily housekeeping philosophy among Contractors REQUIREMENTS: Sound knowledge in HSE matters, e.g. Italian legislations. Language: Italian fluent level – English and/or French preferable. Minimum 3 years previous experience as ASPP/HSE Officer in Oil & gas context.
