Petrochemical Site and Maintenance Manager is required by a leading global, EPC contractor based in Qatar on one of the worlds most prestigious refineries. This is a long term contract and the Maintenance Manager position is a key role with significant responsibility. Typical annual man-hours for the scopes of work are at least 1,500,000 per annum with a core work force of over 450 operatives. The Maintenance Manager position would involve acting as a Site Manager and senior most representative for all contracts (projects, turnaround etc). The successful applicant must: Have more than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work, preferably mechanical in the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry, of which at least 10 years as Supervisor, and 5 years as Site Manager Candidates must: be Degree qualified minimum in Mechanical discipline or standards based qualification be fully aware of quality systems and can perform regular audits to convince all stakeholders be familiar with different Process Equipment, welding techniques, welding tools and equipment, testing and quality control measures be aware of Industry Standards, DEPs and relevant International codes have proven leadership qualities and be able to organise a large site maintenance team different disciplines and manage the site organization independently be able to organise the materials and equipment for his job be able to plan associated activities, and acquire the resources to mobilize all required personnel and equipment on time Must be conversant with typical contract models and key commercial principles for this type of contract have a good skill for managing a maintenance organization even during emergencies be experienced in using CMMS to report cost and KPI performance Be responsible for maintaining a competency management system for all employees If you are looking for a long term career move with a leading organisation and hope to be based in Qatar, an abundantly gas rich region which continues is growth plan and becomes one of the fastest growing economies in the world then apply now.
