Job Title: Rigless Operations Supervisor Location: Abu Dhabi Main Tasks: - Rigless operations supervisor is primarily responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision, optimization and executing the day to day coiled tubing well intervention, rigless stimulation, production testing, slick line, logging and any other assigned well surveillance related operations. Reporting: - Report directly to the Drilling Operations Team Leader (DOTL) - Prepare a daily activity report about the main work conducted and pass it to DOTL before 07:00 AM. - Prepare any near misses or incident reports in timely manner - Prepare the necessary investigation reports or studies regarding any specific problems that may arise. Qualifications: - B.Sc. Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University. - IWCF certification (Supervisor Level). - H2S and First aid certification - At least 10 years drilling/completion/well testing operations experience - Skills in completions, wellbore construction, drilling fluids and well control - Excellent verbal and written skills in English. - Valid driving license Roles & Responsibilities: - Pre-spud equipment check list as per contract and program requirements ensuring equipment integrity - Ensure the availability of work program support material, chemical, storage tanks and water supply to avoid down time or delay in operation - Ensure HSE guidelines are fully addressed and implemented in all stages of well site operations. - Use risk and hazard management techniques to ensure that all significant risks are eliminated or controlled preparing HAZOP, HAZID assessments and peer review reports - Ensure that HSE requirements are never compromised and that the well site operations are in compliance with Al Dhafra corporate HSE requirements. - Attends Pre-job safety meetings (PJSM), review contractors Job safety Analysis (JSA) and conduct the adequate H2S and other safety drills - Support the investigation of any incidents occurring on assigned rigs and ensure that the underlying causes are identified and followed-up to avoid reoccurrence. - Monitor and support the operations on the well site and manage any required changes in the work program in accordance with the Management of Change procedures - Ensure a qualified data is collected and reported to concerned parties in timely manner - Maintain frequent contact with the Drilling Operations Team Leader to update the ongoing well site operations. - Prepare the daily well site operations reports and the final operations reports to the required standard highlighting the failures, successes and lessons learnt - Closely monitor the service providers performance with emphasis on service providers quality of work, safety compliance and job tickets accuracy - Independently determines his own work schedule and priorities to achieve the set objectives in safe and cost effective manner without cutting corners or compromise safety. - Communicates with service company representatives to resolve, operational problems and to identify opportunities performance improvement. - Support and train new Emirati engineers as required.
