Job Reference J5045 Job Description : Electrical Smelter Maintenance Engineer- Gauteng - BSc or BEng Highly urgent position in Johannesburg for Degree qualified Electrical Engineer%u2026 A heavy industry alloy processing plant in Gauteng which supplies specialist products to the expanding steel and stainless steel industry, is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. To ensure the total engineering efficiency of the Plant and the optimum availability and reliability of all equipment and plant through compliance with engineering standards and targets Must have - BSc or BEng Degree- Electrical Engineering - 3 to 8 years maintenance experience is a smelter / refinery environment - Experience with AC/ DC furnaces and converters would be an advantage -Experience with PLCs. DCS, SCADA -Instrumentation background - Valid certificate of fitness Your key duties will include -Ensure improvement and proper maintenance of electrical equipment and infrastructure to ensure maximum plant availability -Assist in problem solving by initiating, developing and implementing alternatives or improvements. -SHEQ -Organisational development -Mentor, coach and performance management Salary CTC circa R600 000 with healthcare and pension.
