(900) Legal Advisor - Preferred Arabic with Western Education
Strategy and planning Provide legal advisory to the CEO and Board of Directors of the company on all legal matters Develop and review all basic legal documentations, focusing on company licensing Develop and all legal deeds, advising the company and ensuring Company is legally sound in terms of all the required legal documentation Operations Provide legal comments and review/ advise on all types of legally binding documents Provide legal opinions and propose solutions that allow management to take appropriate action and reach proper decisions Analyse and finalize all types of contracts, agreements, etc. and ensure company is legally safeguarded Attend meetings as necessary with respect to finalization of agreements Enhance the awareness of company employees on potential legal implications particularly amongst key technical positions Discuss, negotiate & follow up on legal issues with internal and external parties/ lawyers & provide all requirements to support the litigation process of any case Update senior management in case of the introduction of any new laws related to company’s activities Ensure the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations Interact with human resources and administration personnel to safeguard the internal and external status of the firm in terms of organizational set up and labour issues Undertake any other assignment related to the function as per management instructions People Management Manage internal relationships with senior management, CEO and Board of Directors, and employees and staff across the different departments in company Develop and manage external relationships with clients, Government authorities, legal advisors, suppliers, etc. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent from an accredited university Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in Law or Legal Advisory or equivalent (preferably in a similar industry) Proven track record of resolving business litigation cases for similar entities Understanding and interpretation of laws and regulations in the UAE and other countries of operation Understanding of the labour law in the UAE and other countries of where company assets operate Proficiency in English, Arabic is preferred
