(918) Lead Planning Engineer
• Preparation and Submission of Schedule, Reports as per the stipulated duration • Providing enough Feed back to achieve the Objectives of the Project assigned. • Prepare and Providing Deliverables to Internal , External Clients • Meeting Task in Balance Score Card and Tracking of the KPI • Developing Good Planning Engineers • Establish the Requirement of Software • Weekly delivery and update of accurate planning data clearly showing all project deliverables dates, agreed priorities and durations to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager. • To review plans and provide Weekly Planning Exceptions Reports to Project Managers and Lead Engineers. • Provision of accurate planning information to the Lead Engineers to allow for work prioritization, scheduling, reporting and resourcing. • Interfacing with client planning engineers to ensure the company and Client plans are aligned. • Reviewing Client produced plans to ensure internal Engineering Department data ties in with information held within Client Plans. • Advise Internal management/Client of any planning discrepancies and assist with resolution • Advise monthly updates to client and attend Client Day Planning meetings. • Developing and maintaining planning data to allow management of logistics interfaces and construction POB. • Baseline planning, progressing and forecasting work-to-go and production of associated planning reports, including Gantt charts, ‘S’ Curves and manning histograms. • Validating the work and output of all Planning personnel within the planning team. • Interfacing with Lead Cost Engineer to provide accurate information for use in budget forecasting. • The issue of both external and internal planning data to meet requirements as stipulated by Project Manager and Engineering Manager. • Capture of Change Management with all planning data. • To provide ethical, professional leadership, support and mentoring to the discipline team. • To respect colleagues, clients and subcontractors at all levels, dealing with any dispute or conflict in a professional and personable manner. • Any other reasonable duties as specified by Line Manager.
