Job Description Light Duty Driver: The job holder will be responsible to transport passengers and material, using a light motor vehicle, to various company locations and to assigned destinations; Drives a Company sedan, pick-up, station wagon or other light automotive vehicle with adherence to safety and traffic rules, as assigned; Transports employees and visitors to designated destinations and assists passengers by holding doors and carrying baggage as required. Responsibilities: Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to: Collects and delivers the mail including parcels and obtains a receipt for delivered items. Collects renewed security passes and vehicle registration books from the Abu Dhabi Main Office. Collects PDNs/PTNs from various company depots and delivers them to UNT Supply office and the Finance Division in the Main Office, Abu Dhabi or Northern Emirates. Loads and unloads materials and properly secures the materials prior to driving the vehicle. Inspects assigned vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition. Checks the brakes, lights, horn, oil, water, tire pressure and reports to Head for necessary action. Ensures the cleanliness of the vehicle. Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by direct supervisor. Qualification/Experience: Nine years of prepartory school. 3 to 5 years of driving experience. Valid UAE driving license. Ability to follow instructions and able to work independently. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Basic knowledge of English and knowledge of Arabic.
