(954) Instrumentation Technician
Job Description Closing date: 10/08/15 Undertake onsite data verification of process and instrumentation discipline document, including P & IDs and instrumentation drawings, in accordance with Company procedures and standards and provide work direction to technicians. On site duty cycle would be on rotation basis. Principal Accountabilities: Draft work orders and obtain work permits together with writing plans and diagrams from supervisor, review work and arrange for the necessary materials, tools and equipment to complete the task. review of P & IDs markup documents and capable to verify the information in the field and other related documents. Review of instrumentation documents like loop diagram, datasheet, wiring diagram and capable to verify the information in the field and other related documents. Prepares schematic drawings, sketches and reports to reflect changes or alternate made in instruments, circuits and systems. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification & Experience: Completion of secondary technical education (12 yrs) plus 2 yrs advanced vocational education in instrumentation systems or completion of secondary education (10 yrs) plus 3 yrs advanced technical education- Diploma course in instrumentation systems. 8-10 yrs of experience in the maintenance, repair and calibration of a variety of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation with background in computer systems, 3 yrs of which in a senior technician position, preferably in the oil industry. Good command of English language, written and spoken.
