Job Description HSE MANAGER (FRENCH SPEAKER) Mobilization: ASAP Location: Alger (ALGERIE) 4 months on rotation 10 days on/4 days off Then : Adrar (ALGERIE) 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off Mission : Ensure compliance with National, corporate, and affiliate applicable laws and regulations %u2022 Keep track of changes in HSE regulations and plans for new regulations %u2022 Validate requests submitted for concession/exemption from application of reference procedures Operational Responsibility %u2022 To define and communicate to all employees and consultants the HSE policy and objectives, ensuring that HSE policy and documents (directives, rules, specifications, procedures) are properly understood and enforced. %u2022 To ensure compliance of HSE policy with national, corporate and affiliate laws and regulations. %u2022 To ensure HSE coordination with the operative disciplines and their representatives in the affiliates and GDF SUEZ HQ %u2022 To advise management on ways and means of identifying and minimizing risks, and the impact of activities, especially for simultaneous operations or in downgraded situations; to verify and follow up delivery of the appropriate authorizations needed for conducting operations. Risk Evaluation and Management %u2022 To manage and organize risk analysis methodologies to be implemented and the risk acceptance criteria. %u2022 To produce/validate studies performed prior to start-up of activities for safety cases aimed at obtaining authorizations. %u2022 To participate in HAZOP studies and project technical reviews, and to monitor, follow up and assess agreed recommendations and ensure their implementation. Respect For The Environment %u2022 To ensure that EBS (Environmental Baseline Study) and EIA (Environment Impact Assessment) are available. %u2022 To implement and monitor the environmental management plan, including the waste management plan. Safe guarding Of Health %u2022 To ensure that occupational health hazards have been identified; to organize relevant medical audits; to ensure that personnel are fit for their jobs.
