Job Reference HNC/14260/6 Job Description / Exciting opportunity for an experienced Rig Manager to join a global driling contractor and assume resposnsibility for operations on a state of the art advanced deep water DP Drilling Vessel situated in Angola, West Africa. HeadNorths client is an international offshore drilling contractor who own and operate a state of the art fleet of advanced drilling units that include ultra-deep water semisubmersible drilling rigs and ultra-deep water drill ships. They work with Major Operators, often in deep water and harsh environment offshore locations providing specialised Oilfield services within exploration, development and drilling. Their success and growth within the West African region has opened up an opportunity for an experienced and technically qualified Rig Manager with a proven background within DP Drilling Vessel and / or Semi-submersible Rig operations to work closely with their valued client, a major Oil and Gas Operator. Expectations are that you will be an experienced Rig Manager with knowledge, expertise and experience in a management capacity on DP (Dynamic Positioning) Drilling Vessels and/or Semi-submersibles. Technically you will either be degree qualified or have participated in a relevant Management Trainee Programme.
